SHE- Brooke Tometich & Mattie Selecman

Nashville native, Brooke attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for undergraduate study and graduated from MTSU with a music business degree and a minor in public relations.

Her heart, however, was for the creative and for serving women. This led her to the world of hairstyling, where she worked for years in the beauty field counseling the women with whom she shared her chair.

From there, her heart for empowering women transitioned into a leadership position with It Works International network marketing company where she lead a team of over 20,000 women, achieved top ranks with the company, like 4 years as a top 50 earner, and was inducted in the Millionaire Club for her remarkable successes.

Beyond business, Brooke is an adoptive mom, teen mentor and worship leader at her church, and spends time now running NaSHEville with her husband and two children.

Also a Nashville native and Tennessee graduate, Mattie has a degree in English and creative writing, with her first published work coming at age 19 – a country music video treatment which was produced in Tampa, FL and aired on CMT.

From 2012 until June of 2018, Mattie worked in the wine business with certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and the Court of Master Sommeliers. She wrote freelance food and wine pieces while running her own wine bar restaurant, Salt & Vine, until it’s closing last summer.

Mattie’s heart is for ministering and encouraging through the written word. Beyond business, Mattie spends most days on her family’s farm just outside of Nashville with her friends, family, and yellow lab puppy, Ryman.
Both of them will share their journeys with all of us after our launch, so stay tuned for more. For now, make sure to check out their incredible work at @nasheville_
